1. Postdoctoral Researcher in Nanoregenerative Medicine Laboratory
The Nanoregenerative Medicine Laboratory, which is part of the Center for Biomedical Research and Innovation (CIIB) and the IMPACT Basal Center of Excellence of the Universidad de los Andes, seeks to incorporate a postdoctoral researcher to a current Fondef Idea 2023 project to work in the area of biomedicine.
Researcher profile:
- Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related profession.
- Recent PhD with interest in applying to future Post-doctoral projects.
- Intermediate/advanced English level.
- Experience in cellular, molecular biology and immunology is required.
- Experience in animal models is desirable.
- A person with leadership, motivation, enthusiasm and proactivity for scientific work is sought.
- The candidate’s skills include independence in experimental design and execution, while social skills are required to work as part of a team in a diverse multidisciplinary group of scientists.
Line of Research/Project: “Development of an allogeneic product based on a bioactive hydrogel with extracellular nanovesicles and its validation as a regenerative endodontic treatment”.
Funding: Fondef IDEA Project. Salary according to position and experience. Availability from July 2023.

2. Research Assistant for Bioprocess Laboratory
The Bioprocess Laboratory, which is part of the IMPACT Basal Center of Excellence of the Universidad de los Andes, is looking for a full-time research assistant to work in the area of process development related to biological therapies.
Researcher profile:
- Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related studies with at least 2-3 years of demonstrable work experience.
- Experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) is desirable.
- A person with motivation, enthusiasm and proactivity for scientific work is required.
- Skills that the candidate should have include independence in experimental design and execution, while social skills are required to work in a multidisciplinary group of scientists.
Salary commensurate with position and experience. Immediate availability.
