Non-student: 30.000 CLP or 30 USD
Student: 20.000 CLP or 20 USD*

2. To submit your abstract:

Please upload your information on the link hosting the form to be filled with the following:

- Title with 200-character limit, following sentence-style capitalization (e.g. “Extracellular vesicles obtained from MSC modulate immunity”).
- Authors, underlying the name of the presenter
- Affiliations
- The abstract should contain a body with 1,500-character limit, not including spaces.
- Please include funding support for this research
- Please add the email of the presenting author
- Please indicate the Topic Category (EVs Biology, Transplantation, Regenerative Medicine, Cancer, Biomarkers, EVs in the clinic, Other).

a) If selected for Poster presentation, you need to bring a vertical orientation printed poster: Dimensions: 80x120cm2

b) If selected for Oral presentation, you will have 10min to present your work, and 5min for answering questions

SPEAKERS

CLOTILDE THÉRY, (France)

Professor and INSERM director of research (DR2) at Institut Curie in Paris, France. She is president of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV). Théry researches extracellular vesicles.

ENRICO RAGNI, Italy

PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Milan. From 2017 he works as Researcher at Orthopaedic Biotechnology Laboratory (IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi).

SEBASTIÁN ILLANES, Chile

Surgeon from Universidad de Chile and a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Universidad de Los Andes. Sub-specialist in Fetal Medicine from the University of Bristol (England) and Master in Reproductive Biology from the University of Chile.

KARINA PINO-LAGOS, Chile

Engineer in Molecular Biotechnology at the Universidad de Chile and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology, with mention in Immunology, at Dartmouth College (New Hampshire, USA).

LESLEY SMYTH, UK

Immunologist from the University of Glasgow and PH.D from the University of Edinburgh.  She is a member of the British Society for Immunology and Senior Lecturer at the University of East London.

FRANCISCA ALCAYAGA, Chile

Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Expert in extracellular vesicles as a therapeutic tool to treat solid tumors and degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis.

MAROUN KHOURY, Chile

Ph.D. in health and biology at the University of Montpellier (France), expert in gene therapy. He leads research aimed at developing treatments and therapies against diseases such as heart failure, osteoarthritis, lupus and other diseases.

ÚRSULA WYNEKEN, Chile

Biochemist and holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Universidad de Chile. She is currently an academic and researcher at the School of Medicine, Universidad de Los Andes.

PATRICIA ROCCO, Brazil

Full Professor at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Head, Laboratory of Pulmonary Investigation, Carlos Chagas Filho Biophysics Institute. Vice-president of the Brazilian Association for Cellular Therapy.

ALEJANDRA CHAPARRO, Chile

Dental surgeon and specialist in Odontology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Director of the Master in Research and Innovation in Dental Sciences at the Universidad de los Andes.

PATRICIA LUZ, Chile

Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. She is currently an academic at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad de Los Andes.
